Styled after a past era of extravagant parties, this is an intimate show without the separation of stage: burlesque artists will be performing mere inches from your seat. If you’re craving glittery costumes, glamour, or wild gin-soaked revelry – you’ve come to the right place! Doors are at 7pm and the show is at 8pm. The show runs just over an hour, with a short intermission in the middle. Burlesque performers will be teasing and dancing all throughout the room.
STARRING Vancouver burlesque all-star, April O’Peel! April has been listed as one of Canada’s top burlesque performers and holds awards for “Comedic and Satirical Brilliance”, “Producer Pants”, “WTF”, “Congeniality”, “Community Creator” and “Do the Hustle” from the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, and has also been awarded “Most Comedic” at the Burlesque Hall of Fame. They produce large scale burlesque and cabaret productions with April O’Peel Productions, are a co-producer of Bad Company Burlesque, and a member of the Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society. April has headlined The Bagel Burlesque Expo, Itty Bitty Burlesque Festival, and the Edmonton Burlesque Festival, amongst many others. April also launched a successful Kickstarter campaign for their book, “The ABC Double D’s of Burlesque”.
